June 2007, the Women’s Sports Foundation formalized to the public the Brenda Reilly Advocacy Hotline.
The Brenda Reilly Advocacy Hotline (our 800#) is the first line of support for any and all gender equity issues that come to the Women's Sports Foundation - parents, coaches, athletes, administrators - who are questioning whether there is fair and equitable treatment in their sport or work experience. We are proud to associate Brenda's name to this important component of the Women's Sports Foundation's work. The interns and staff who respond to these calls are top notch individuals who handle every caller with amazing care, effort, and expertise.
Donations received from golf outings, fundraisers, planned and outright gifts insure that we are staffed to handle the demand we receive. Currently, we process more than 100 calls a month and have more than 300 'open issues' that we are assisting people with. We hope you are as proud as we are to continue to honor Brenda and her career in this way and want to thank all of you who contribute regularly to carry on her passion and work on gender equity.
