Our Team
We are athletes. We are activists. We have joined this cause because we believe in a day when all girls and women have equal access to athletic opportunities. Meet our team.

The Women’s Sports Foundation headquarters is located in Nassau County, N.Y. Our central office is open to the public, and visitors are welcome to stop by to learn more about our programs and services.

From Manhattan/West:
Take the Grand Central Parkway east, which becomes the Northern State Parkway, to Exit 32 (Post Avenue, Westbury) and turn right (South) at the end of the Exit ramp.
or
Take the Long Island Expressway (LIE, 495) east to Exit 34 to the Northern State Parkway East to Exit 32 (Post Avenue, Westbury) and turn right (South) at the end of the Exit ramp.

Stay on Post Ave, proceed under the railroad bridge, pass the church on the left and cross over the large intersection of Old Country Rd. You will then be on Merrick Ave. Eisenhower Park will be on your left.

At the fifth traffic light, turn left into the Park. You are now on the Causeway.

Follow the signs and go to Parking Field 6/6a, Women’s Sports Foundation (just past the Driving Range and Firefighter’s Memorial on the right).

Turn right and follow the road, going straight after the stop sign, to the end. The Foundation’s main building is the last large stone/brick building on the left.

From Eastern Long Island:
Take the Northern State Parkway west, to Exit 32 (Post Avenue, Westbury) and turn right (South) at the end of the Exit ramp.
or

By Train From Manhattan or Eastern Long Island:
Take the LIRR’s Port Jefferson Branch to the Westbury Stop. To check the LIRR schedule call 718.217.LIRR or visit www.mta.nyc.ny.us/lirr.

Cabs are always on the north side of the train station. Tell the cab driver you are going to Eisenhower Park, Parking Field 6/6a, the Women’s Sports Foundation.
